Thanks for the quick response Highkeas. I’m currently building some very preliminary FT’s and was wanting to get a ballpark estimate of which branch is more likely to drive the top event. After doing a little research I’ve determined that Threaded Insert is the colloquial name among MEs whereas helicoil is rather a brand of threaded inserts that has sort of gained brand recognition similar to Xerox for copier. For now I’m going to go with the NPRD value given for Insert, Screw Thread and refine later using a more rigorous approach.
