Thanks, but wouldnt that increase the failure rate for individual part number as observed in NPRD-2011, say, there is a failure assumed to an operating hours of 20k, this leads to more failure rates than one failure actually observed at 200K hours.
(i.e.) 0/20,000hours is assumed as 1/20,000 that = 50×10^(-6)hours whilst for the later case it ll be 5×10^(-6).
I could get a hang of considering 1 failure per million hours(or in some cases, hundred thousand hours) but how is this asserted for 20k hours as in Mech actuators given in the summary!? wouldnt this lead to high failure rates being recorded into the database…
