ROADS is a subscription service that provides easily searchable access to the following databooks directly in your web browser:
Nonelectronic Parts Reliability Data (NPRD) including the newly updated NPRD-2023, which presents field failure rate data for electrical assemblies and electromechanical/mechanical parts and assemblies.
Electronic Parts Reliability Data (EPRD) including the newly updated EPRD-2024, which contains field failure rate data for commercial and military electronic components for use in reliability analyses.
Failure Mode / Mechanism Distributions (FMD), which presents field failure mode and mechanism distribution data on a variety of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical parts and assemblies.
This interactive online tool provides efficient search and retrieval of all information contained in the EPRD, NPRD, and FMD hardcopy databooks. Containing a built-in search engine, information may be searched on part number, part categories or descriptions, manufacturer, and National Stock Number (NSN). Additional filters are available to specify application environment and quality levels.
Accessibility
ROADS can be accessed with a web browser anywhere with an Internet connection. Please note, ROADS is not a PDF of the databooks.

The databooks viewable within ROADS will be updated periodically (as new data warrants) and configuration controlled, so that the presented data is always traceable to a specific version of a hardcopy databook. For example, a ROADS subscriber can switch between viewing the NPRD-2023 databook and NPRD-2016.
Descriptions of the Databooks
Nonelectronic Parts Reliability Data (NPRD) presents field failure rate data on a wide variety of mechanical and electromechanical parts and assemblies. The parts cover ground, airborne and naval environments. NPRD-2023 adds 300,000 new failure rate records and 13,000 new components compared to its predecessor. NPRD-2023 is now available through ROADS!
Electronic Parts Reliability Data (EPRD), contains field failure rate data for commercial and military electronic components for use in reliability analyses. Component types include integrated circuits, discrete semiconductors (diodes, transistors, optoelectronic devices), resistors, capacitors, and inductors/transformers. EPRD–2024 is now available through ROADS!
Failure Mode / Mechanism Distributions (FMD), presents field failure mode and mechanism distribution data on a variety of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical parts and assemblies. This data can be used to apportion an item’s failure rate into modal elements and assist in the performance of reliability analyses and assessments such as Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).

Subscription Information
The subscription plan you choose will automatically renew thereafter and you will be charged according to your chosen payment method at then-current rates. To cancel you must call us at (877) 808-0097 (Toll Free), or (315) 732-0097 prior to the renewal date.
Your subscription will automatically renew under this agreement. Your subscription will continue for the length of the initial term you select on your plan and at the end of your prepaid subscription, it will automatically renew for additional prepaid periods of the same length unless you choose to cancel prior to that renewal date. In order to cancel your subscription you must call us at (877) 808-0097 (Toll Free), or (315) 732-0097. Your credit card account will automatically be charged (or you will be billed, as applicable) at the rates in effect at the time of renewal.
IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, PLEASE NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY AND WE WILL CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WITHIN THREE BUSINESS DAYS OF THE START OF YOUR PLAN, IT WILL MEAN THAT YOU AGREE TO THIS AGREEMENT WHICH WILL BE LEGALLY BINDING ON YOU.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ROADS SUBSCRIPTION
This Terms and Conditions agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and Quanterion Solutions Incorporated (“Quanterion” or “We” or “Us”) for the use of the ROADS product (“Product”). By accessing or using the Product, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
1. Subscription and Payment
1.1 The Product is available on an annual subscription basis. To access the Product, you must purchase an annual subscription.
1.2 Quanterion reserves the right to change the subscription fee at any time.
1.3 All subscription fees are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated by Quanterion.
2. Use of the Product
2.1 The Product is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. Quanterion disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
2.2 You may use the Product solely for your own internal business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or otherwise transfer the Product or any portion thereof to any third party.
2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2.4 You may only access the data contained in the Product using the data access tools provided by Quanterion in the Product. You may not access the Product or its data using any other data access tool, program, or script. Any attempt to access the data using unauthorized tools will be considered a violation of this Agreement, and Quanterion reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and revoke your access to the Product.
2.5 You may not un-compile, un-assemble, or, in any other way, reverse-engineer the data
