At their annual awards dinner on May 3rd, the Mohawk Valley Engineers Executive Council (MVEEC) presented its “Young Technologist of the Year” to Alex MacDiarmid. The award is presented annually to an engineer under age 35 who has made outstanding achievements in his/her career field during the year. MacDiarmid’s contributions to the company’s operation of the DoD Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center (CSIAC) were cited as outstanding in the area of applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for cybersecurity.
