Ten-year old Utica-based Quanterion Solutions Incorporated continues to grow with the addition of key staff members. Company President, Preston MacDiarmid, announced that Thomas McGibbon and Paul Wagner have joined the company that provides reliability and quality engineering and software/database development services to the government and commercial industry.

Thomas McGibbon has joined Quanterion as Director of Software Engineering.  Tom has over 30 years of experience in software development and engineering, systems development, and software project management. He was most recently Director of the Data & Analysis Center for Software (DACS) for ITT Corporation.   He is the author of several state-of-the-art reports on software engineering topics.  He holds a MS in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University and BS in Mathematics from Clarkson University.  He is a Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP).  Tom resides in Rome, NY with his wife Theresa.

Paul Wagner joined Quanterion in the position of Senior Engineer.  He is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and brings to Quanterion over 35 years experience in engineering and technical management related to product development, manufacturing, test and quality process development, all at local companies in the Utica area.  Most recently, Paul was the Director of Technical Services for Anritsu Instruments, formerly NetTest / Laser Precision. Paul resides in New Hartford, NY with his wife Karen and their youngest son Mark.

Along with projects for the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), the Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) and a variety of commercial customers, Quanterion is the day-to-day operator of the Reliability Information Analysis Center (RIAC) at the State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT), a collaborator in the operation of the Center.
